Path To Sands Beach In IV

Sands was one of the beaches I most often frequented during my years in Santa Barbara.
It was just around the point at Deveraux, real name; Coal Oil Point. It was a good walk to reach the beach but well worth it.
Sands had surf more frequently than many of the other surfing beaches there. It was a good beach break with rights and lefts and on occasion it would crank.
It was not unusual to see gobs of tar floating in the water and washed up on the beach. Any one who surfed often at Sands had tar on the deck of their surf board.
Further up the beach there was a nude beach where I was a regular.
